Client relationships include hospital based independent reference laboratories, regional independent laboratories, and an organization that provides various outreach services to hospital laboratories. In addition, she collaborates with other established laboratory consulting companies and a law firm that specializes in healthcare and laboratory compliance when her in-depth knowledge is required within their engagements.

Evelyn has over twenty-five years of progressively responsible senior managerial experience in the clinical laboratory industry in various multi-million dollar clinical laboratory operations in areas including:

  • Responsibility for high volume billing operations, including patient and client customer service telephone inquiry units.
  • Responsibility for virtually all business and non-technical departments in the laboratory environment (Results Inquiry, Customer Service, Logistics, Accessioning at Port Locations, etc), including development and compliant operation of extensive networks of remote ports and Patient Service Centers.
  • Designed and development of proprietary computer systems and front end modules, and refined manual billing systems to increase operational efficiency and improve billing outcome.
  • Expediting cash flow, reducing Accounts Receivable/and DSO, and improving EBITDA, through a comprehensive approach extending beyond the boundaries of the typical billing operation.
  • Identification and standardization of “Best Practices” both in billing and other laboratory areas, including establishing appropriate controls to monitor and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Billing, compliance, data base integrity and due diligence audits, computer system conversions, cost containment and cost reduction initiatives, client satisfaction and retention programs, sales and marketing strategy and implementation of corporate integrity agreements.
