He has worked with national consulting organizations evaluating the laboratory operations in large academic medical centers and has also performed a due diligence for potential acquisition targets. He has also contracted with reference laboratories and a laboratory instrument manufacturing company specifically concentrating on laboratory operations and specimen flow. In addition, he recently worked with a specialty laboratory analyzing and optimizing the entire operation including specimen flow, equipment utilization, reporting parameters and laboratory information systems.

Mr. Bell began his career in the clinical laboratory as a Medical Technologist working in, and eventually managing all departments in a large clinical laboratory. During this time he gained hands-on and operational expertise in essentially all technical and non-technical areas of the laboratory eventually leading to a number of senior management positions..
